Oman’s popular mountain destination, Al Jabal Al Akhdhar, witnessed a sharp rise in visitor numbers in the first half of 2025, welcoming nearly 89,700 tourists by the end of June. The data, released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), highlights the growing appeal of this high-altitude escape, especially during the summer months when temperatures in other parts of the Gulf soar.
