Terms of Use

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any tour or travel services with Zion Events and Tours ("we," "us," or "our"). By making a booking, you ("the client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Booking Process: Bookings can be made through our website, by email, phone, or in person at our office. A booking is considered confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation (e.g., booking confirmation email or invoice) after receiving the initial deposit or full payment.

  • Initial Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour/service cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The exact amount will be specified in your booking confirmation.

  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, UPI, and secure online payment gateways.

  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed. They include only those items specifically mentioned in the itinerary or inclusions and exclude personal expenses unless explicitly stated.

2. Travel Documents and Visas

  • Passport and Visa: You are solely responsible for ensuring you possess a valid passport (at least six months beyond your intended stay) and for obtaining the necessary visas, permits, and other travel documents. We may provide general guidance, but you are responsible for verifying requirements with the appropriate authorities.

  • Other Documents: You must carry all other necessary documents, such as flight tickets, hotel vouchers, government ID, and vaccination certificates, as may be required.

  • Consequences of Missing Documents: We are not responsible for any consequences, losses, or expenses arising from your failure to obtain or possess valid travel documents.

3. Health and Safety

  • Health Precautions: It is your responsibility to consult with your physician regarding necessary vaccinations, medications, or health precautions for your destination(s).

  • Physical Fitness: Some tours may require a certain level of physical fitness. You must assess your own fitness level. We are not liable for health issues arising from pre-existing conditions or lack of fitness.

  • Safety: Travel inherently involves risks. While we prioritize your safety, you are responsible for adhering to local laws, customs, and instructions from our staff and service providers.

4. Changes to Itinerary

  • Our Right to Make Changes: We reserve the right to modify the itinerary, accommodations, transport, or other arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, political unrest, strikes, or government restrictions).

  • Notification of Changes: We will notify you of any significant changes as early as possible.

  • Client's Acceptance of Changes: Minor changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

  • Alternative Arrangements: If significant changes occur, we will offer comparable alternative arrangements or, if not possible, a refund as per our cancellation policy.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Limitation of Liability: We act solely as a booking agent for third-party providers (e.g., airlines, hotels). We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by third parties. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service.

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or pandemics.

  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, baggage loss, and other potential risks.

6. Customer Conduct

  • Respectful Behavior: Clients must behave respectfully toward all staff, representatives, and fellow travelers.

  • Compliance with Laws: You are expected to follow all local laws and customs.

  • Disruptive Behavior: We reserve the right to remove participants from a tour without refund if behavior is deemed dangerous, offensive, or illegal.

7. Complaints and Grievances

  • Reporting Issues: Report any issues immediately to our local representative so they can attempt a resolution.

  • Written Complaints: If unresolved, email a formal complaint to info@zioneventsandtours.com within 14 days of your return.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

9. Data Protection

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

10. Severability

If any clause of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and binding.
