Itinerary
  • Start off this adventurous expedition to Spiti by meeting our representative in Shimla where you will be briefed about the tour.
  • Make a pitstop to freshen up and have some breakfast.
  • Get ready to hit the roads and begin your transfer from Shimla to Kalpa.
  • Drive through scenic tinsel towns of Kufri and Narkanda, where you will feel the freshness in the air as the fruity scent from the apple orchards tickles your nose.
  • Pass through the popular towns of Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr to enter the spectacular Kinnaur valley.
  • As you enter Sarahan , catch a glimpse of the majestic Kinner Kailash looming right above the village, which is said to be the summer abode of Lord Shiva.
  • Reach Kalpa by evening and call it a day off.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Kalpa.
  • Wake up early in the mountain and have a hearty breakfast.
  • Pack up your bags and complete the check-out formalities.
  • Start your journey towards the scenic Roghi Cliff point, popularly known as the Suicide Point, and is located on one of the toughest mountain roads in the country.
  • Later, Begin the drive to Chitkul by traveling on the Indo Tibetan Highway till Karcham.
  • On the way stop at Karcham-Wangtoo Bridge and later you can make a pit-stop for lunch at Sangla.
  • Reach Chitkul by afternoon and rest for some time, after completing the check-in formalities.
  • The rest of the day is at your leisure where you choose to explore Chitkul and witness a beautiful sunset from this last village on the Indo Tibetan border.
  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Chitkul
  • After early morning breakfast, you will be leaving for Nako passing through the beautiful Kinnaur Valley.
  • Take the Indo-Tibet Highway and pass through the Khab bridge that marks the confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River.
  • The road will further lead you to Nako, the last hamlet of the Kinnaur district.
  • Upon reaching Nako complete the check-in formalities and head out for some sightseeing in Nako.
  • Head over to see the beautiful Nako Monastery, situated by the beautiful Nako Lake.
  • Spend some time soaking in the spiritual vibes as you walk through the hallways of the monastery adorned with colorful paintings and a collection of scriptures (Kangyur) that have direct teachings of Lord Buddha.
  • Later, sit leisurely by the Nako Lake and witness a change in shades of the lake water as the sun sets behind the mighty mountains.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Nako.
  • Wake up early in the morning to a beautiful view of sunrise and have a healthy breakfast.
  • Hit the roads and just as you cross Sumdo you will be entering the Spiti Valley.
  • Just 3 Km after Sumdo, take a detour on the right through the gate to visit the 500-Year-Old Mummy in the Gue Village.
  • You will then proceed towards Kaza where you can have your lunch before heading out to explore Kaza.
  • After lunch, you will ride towards the world-famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
  • You will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains.
  • From Kibber, you will drive higher up to the secluded village of Gette where you can absorb stunning aerial views of Kaza and tie a prayer flag.
  • Overnight stay at Kaza.
  • Post early morning breakfast, take your bike out today to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza.
  • Visit the tourist spots including the Key Gompa Monastery that is nestled between the mountains in a bowl shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
  • Langza lies at a whopping height of about 14,500 ft. above sea level and also considered to be one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road and the nearby Komic Village is the highest village.
  • Hikkim is a village in the Spiti district, close to Kaza which is one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in India.
  • After exploring the beautiful villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik, return back to your hotel in Kaza for overnight stay.
  • Post breakfast, your motorbike expedition will be moving towards the next location which is the beautiful crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake.
  • After passing Kunzum La you will take a right before Baltal to visit Chandratal Lake.
  • The beauty of this place is spectacular and you will have to park your vehicles and then trek for two kilometres to reach the lake.
  • The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called the “Moon Lake” due to its crescent shape.
  • It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a cirque on the other. After the sunset the lake glitters under the starlit sky adding to its overall charm.
  • Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal.
  • Today you will be leaving behind the Spiti Valley and start riding towards Manali.
  • On the way, you will be crossing the Atul tunnel and SOLANG VALLEY.
  • reach Manali by the evening.
  • After reaching Manali you will check in to the hotel and rest for the evening
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
  • After breakfast, start descending from the mountains on your last day and reach Chandigarh by evening.
  • On this thrilling highway route, experience the full-throttle on your Himalayan
  • After reaching Chandigarh, hand over your bikes at the reporting point and this will mark the end of your amazing Spiti expedition.

 Terms & Conditions

Complaints

We do our best to give passengers travelling on any of our holidays, an enjoyable and trouble free vacation but occasionally plans go wrong. Should you have any complaint, please inform your tour manager (at the same time), who will do everything possible to resolve the matter immediately. If the situation is not resolved to your satisfaction, then you must notify the company within 28 days of the tour ending in writing. If you do not write to us within this time, this will affect the investigation and outcome of the complaint. Any disputes between clients and Chal Banjare Shall be governed by Jurisdiction on India.

Early Check-in / Late Check -out

Please note that standard check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 1200 Hrs. (IST). Therefore cost of early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depend upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.

Extra Uses of our Vehicle

Please note that cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) does not include extra usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.

Rights to amend the itinerary if required

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers. On the extra cost as applicable by the region union or standard price. 

Surcharge

The Price of your travel arrangement is subject to surcharges in case of sudden hike in fuel prices, schedule airfare and any taxes levied by the government. Even in this case, we will try to absorb an amount of 2%, amount exceeding over 2% will be surcharged.

 Booking & Cancellation Policy

BOOKING & CANCELATION POLICY

  • For the services contracted, 30% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis . We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services. Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season full payment is required to be sent in advance
